If you're setting up systems to run the 2.4 kernel now but plan to make a 2.6 upgrade in the future, be sure to avoid a nail-biting upgrade by making a double-sized root or /boot partition now. That way you'll have space for both kernels and the associated modules without having to do a scary upgrade where you remove the running kernel before there's a bootable replacement. http://www.linuxjournal.com Enjoy :) /~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~\ | Carl William Spitzer IV | | cwsiv@linuxmail.org cwsiv@fuckmicrosoft.com | | member Orange County Linux Users Group http://www.oclug.org | \---------------------------------------------------------------/ ________________________________________________________________ The best thing to hit the Internet in years - Juno SpeedBand!
