Style mixup - Plastic and highlighted neon menu-entries

Hello! I get som uggly style mix in the menus. Plastic is selected for style and window decoration. But at the same keywords in menus are highlighted i neon colours? How do I disable that feature ... must some laptop feature I guess. /Karim
