Using 'kmail', is there a way to send an email to a group of people without disclosing the entire list of addressees to each individual addressee? Is there a way to send a blind cc?
Yes.....it's called "BCC," or "Blind Copy." Go to your "View" icon at the top and check mark "BCC."
Fred
I do not have a 'View' icon. I also do not have a 'Bcc' entry on the View menu. I am running version 1.5.4 of kmail and Linus 9.0. kmail was installed straight from the CD - no changes made.
Yes you do. Open your composer for a new piece of mail, or to (for example respond to this) and look at the "View" icon. Fred -- "...Linux, MS-DOS, and Windows XP (also known as the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)."
