I installed 8.2 on another drive for grins-n-giggles to play around with the cdrtools errors I've been having troubles with. I copied the binaries froma virgin source build of cdrtools 2.01a25 on 8.2 to my 9.0 installation. Copied the /opt/schily/lib/* to /usr/lin on 9.0 install and now it allows me to build from vanilla sources. Seems something was wrong/misconfigured/dorked-up/whatever with the libraries included on 9.0 install. I run a SCSI burner and this is the FIRST time I've been able to burn since installing 9.0 pro. GIrlfriend's pc uses a APATI burner and it's working fine, but she cannot compile cdrtools-2.01a25 from vanilla sources. Hope this helps.
