Hi, all --
I know that this is a bit OT for this forum because I am configuring apache manually, but that's only because yast is a bit stupid about it and so perhaps I can beg some help :-)
I have mod_ssl loaded and the libssl.so and related files in place. The SuSE httpd.conf leftovers have a
<IfDefine DUMMYSSL> LoadModule ssl_module /usr/lib/apache/libssl.so </IfDefine>
block which makes it look as though if I could merely define DUMMYSSL then SSL would happily turn on.
So how do I define DUMMSSL? Or, alternatively, how do I turn on (and perhaps configure) SSL?
Edit /etc/sysconfig/apache, look for "SSL", and run SuSEconfig --module apache. Might be too late, if you did change certain files in /etc/httpd that SuSEconfig would need to touch. Peter
