Hello,

I have generated some rpm's for the SuSE 9.0 release. However, I am having a
serious problem getting them to accept my gpg signatures.

Here's what i have got:
I altered /usr/lib/rpm/macros to utilize the following

%_signature gpg
%_gpg_name "Thomas Jones <thomas.jones@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx>"
%_gpg_path ~/.gnupg
%distribution "SuSE Linux 9.0 (i586)"
%packager "Thomas Jones (thomas.jones@xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx)"
%vendor "SuSE Linux AG, Nuernberg, Germany"

I have also tried to comment out ALL the references to PGP. But this seems to
have no affect.

I issue the following command

rpm -vv --addsign (rpm-name).rpm

This is what i get

Enter pass phrase:
usage: gpg [options] [filename]
Pass phrase check failed
suse:/usr/src/packages/RPMS/i586 #

I have verified the pass phrase --- and typed very carefully.

Any ideas?

Thanks.
Thomas
