When one brings up kppp & sets up a connection there is a drop-down list of 
prospective connection devices.  I would like to add a device to that list so 
that I don't have to constantly change the /dev/modem symlink when I want to 
switch from my internal to an external modem.

Can someone help me with how to add the missing device?  There *must* be a 
way... no?
