Under 8.2 I could choose draft, normal, photo, high etc. printing queues for my Epson C70. Under 9.0 the queue names have gone.
When you use CUPS you don't need seperated queues - see the "User Guide" manual - therefore by default there is only one queue for one printer. When you use CUPS there is the option "Printout Mode" with the following choices: - Draft (Economy) - Draft Grayscale (Economy) - Normal - Normal Grayscale - High Quality - High Quality Grayscale - Very High Quality - Very High Quality Grayscale - Photo - Photo Grayscale Use them instead of seperated queues. When you Use LPRng/lpdfilter set up the printer manually in YaST and select "Automatically Propose Multiple Queues" on the "Queue name" screen. This would create the following queues: - draft - draft_gray - normal - normal_gray - high - high_gray - veryhigh - veryhigh_gray - photo - photo_gray With SUSE LINUX 9.0 you have more predefined choices as before.
