This appears to be incorrect as well. For example, I tried the ftp site mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/suse/i386/9.0. In order to get this to work, I had to place mirror.mcs.anl.gov in the first box and pub/suse/i386/9.0 in the 2nd.
That looks like exactly what I suggested. I wonder if my wording was somehow unclear. I assume the actual rpms were at mirror.mcs.anl.gov/pub/suse/i386/9.0/suse/i586. Perhaps I should also have given an example. Paul Abrahams
