For instance, the path /home/user/docs/projects/cust01/excel I'd like to simply refer to as /excel instead of typing in the entire path. Is this a symbolic link? The HD is already mounted when the system comes up, so mount isn't working.
The man pages doesn't have anything on "symbolic" - what am I missing?
