HI all!
i am experiencing strange (for me) problems when i try to connect to my modem 
as root...something like this: 
testj:~ # cu -l /dev/ttyACM0
cu: creat (/var/lock/TMP0000000893): Permission denied
cu: /dev/ttyACM0: Line in use
when i am logged as a user everything works well: 
test:~ # su kos
kos@test:/root> cu -l /dev/ttyACM0
Connected.
ti3
ZyXEL V.90 1.02

OK

so... i think i am missing something... on my old suse 8.0 i can connect as 
root... but this is a 9.0 machine... any clue?
