Gday.

A couple of questions: 1. Can NPTL be used on an i586 (k6-2 3d) SuSE 9.0 machine, with kernel
2.6?

2. If yes, is building it from SRPM really the only way to get an i586
NPTL glibc? What will I need if have to do so. Once I get it done, will
be happy to share my experience.

Greetings,

Anderson

Before resending emails you should read the answers to your first email.

Here is my answer again:

9.0 does not have any NPTL support.

What you wish to do is to look at:

ftp://ftp.suse.com/pub/projects/glibc/
