(SuSE 9.0, Gnome 2.2.2, Acrobat 5.0.5, Galeon 1.3.11a)

While browsing the Internet using Galeon, I happened to open a pdf
using, I assume, the Acrobat Reader plugin. The next link I clicked
caused Galeon to stop responding. I also couldn't log out so I used
Ctrl-alt-backspace to restart X. This sort of worked. I am now able to
use Gnome and its applications normally except that an empty Acrobat
Reader window refuses to go away. While trying to get it to go away I
managed to create another one. So I now have two permanent empty Acrobat
Reader windows. (Ashamedly, I even rebooted the system. Just in case.)
Can anyone tell me how to get rid of these empty windows? Or am I stuck
with them forever? :-) Any advice or pointers will be appreciated.

Have you got your system configured to save open applications for next
boot? If so, turn it off. I'll have to try and find how to do that, as
I don't recall at the moment.
