Greets;

Just installed SuSE 9 (ftp version) twice now on the same machine simply to test and confirm, and it consistantly loads the german keyboard despite english_us being selected and set in all known locations. Was wondering the following:

1. Anyone else experience this?

2. Where and how do I set an english_us mappings as everything I know seems to be set correctly?

Any clues would be greatly appreciated.

/etc/sysconfig/keyboard

# Keyboard mapping
# (/usr/share/kbd/keymaps/)
# e.g. KEYTABLE="de-latin1-nodeadkeys", "us" or empty for US settings
#
KEYTABLE="trq.map.gz"

Ofcourse use "us" rather then trq.map.gz
