Hi Per,
No, graphics won't be a problem. But the size of your disks and the speed of the cpu might become a very thin bottleneck. I installed SuSE 9 on an old Pentium 90 and it was very time-consuming.
Hi, disk-size is not a problem. I've just installed a 40Gb IBM Deskstar in one of these boxes, which went fine. Even so, for running it as a router, I shouldn't need more then 1-2Gb. But you're right about the time thing. Yast2 is pretty darn slow on anything less than 500MHz.
Why are you fixed on SuSE then? Why don't you try http://www.fli4l.de/e_index.htm. Or any other smaller distribution?
I know, others have suggested it too. The main thing is admin - I'd really prefer to stick to just one distro. But I did take a look at fli4l, and that looks kinda cool. Thanks for the link. /Per
