I'm stupid I found it. I didn't click enough '+"'s before finding the programs. But my question still stands. After you install a new piece of software how do you know what menu item it goes under?
It goes under what ever menu item you wish to put it. It's your computer, take charge of it and set it up the way you want. If it is integrated into the menu in a dumb place you can drag it to another place. You are correct, it could use a search function. Install the findutils and use "locate" (after issuing "rebuilddb" command). If you were looking for some menu item named "LinNeighborhood" you could then type locae LinN and you would see a line like this: /etc/opt/kde3/share/applnk/SuSE/Internet/Tools/LinNeighborhood.desktop This says you will find the LinNieghborhood menu item in under SuSE / Internet / Tools Not all rpm instalations will create menu items for you, you often have to make your own. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
