Using alsamixer, you need to adjust the "Wave Surround" setting.
I too have A SoundBlaster Audigy, however, Mark Gray's suggestion does not seem to work on the rear speakers. However, it does seem to affect the balance/spacial effect of the front speakers. Anty other ideas?
I have almost the same card. The Live!.. I did find the controlls for the rear speakers.. But its a pain to have to adjust the soundlevel at two places... I just want to drag ONE slider to silence BOTH front and rear...
How to??
