The 9.0 SuSE rpm is broken.
Really?. To say the true, I have not worked too much with it after get it installed. I have SuSE 9.0 FTP version and it had some dependencies broken because java2 is not in the FTP version. I built an rpm to avoid these conflicts after download java2sdk.rpm from SunJava Site. You can see http://www.oxixares.com/rpms/SuSE_9.0/java2_ftpinstalls/README After install the java2_ftpinstalls rpm I installed OpenOffice from SuSE 9.0 without problems.
