CMIIANC, but Carlos uses 8.2, not 9.0 and accessing cups in 8.2 only requires root password, not lp password. A ver 9.0 security enhancement.
I am also using 8.2 and the only things that work for stopping print jobs are the commands Lprm -P (printer name) to stop the job and fuser -k /dev/(device name of the printer)to remove what remains and could still be transmitted to the printer works with cups and no need to be root for this. hope this helps -- ________________ Paul Ollion Proud Linux user - SuSE - 8.2
