I just edited the file /etc/X11/XF86Config.
I know that there's a message warning not to do so, but it's working 
today. Some alterations were done for refresh rates and ...voilá!
Also I turned my shared video memory (BIOS) to 4MB again (instead 8MB) 
as described in another thread:
