First thing to do on any nf2 board: add 'noapic' to the kernel command line in /boot/grub/menu.lst
For the patching the agpgart problem, when (as per nvidia's instructions) I'm in /usr/src/linux-2.4.21-144 (I'm assuming this is the Linux kernel source directory I installed from the beginning) and type 'patch -p1 < linux-2.4.21-144-agpgart.diff' I get a file/directory not found. When I look around for this file I find a 2.4.20 version of agpgart.diff a few directory trees further inside my /usr/src directory.
The nforce2 agpgart patch was already applied to the 9.0 kernel. - -- James Oakley Engineering - SolutionInc Ltd. joakley@solutioninc.com http://www.solutioninc.com -----BEGIN PGP SIGNATURE----- Version: GnuPG v1.2.2 (GNU/Linux) iD8DBQE/5wi/+FOexA3koIgRAjccAJ9XWNIU/wLO5k/Mh5SQsBxVWRfMYgCeMcRo DjChAIWaH8k3litFvVMlaJc= =bWoG -----END PGP SIGNATURE-----
