How do I make my nic 100 full duplex? I can seem to find a GUI option for it and I don't know the network config files well enough on SUSE to know them by heart.
IMHO the setting is HW-specific. You may find the right options on http://www.scyld.com/network and then use the Network card module of YaST to define them. -- A.M.
