I've got SuSE 9.0 with GRUB as bootloader and want to also boot FreeBSD. Did the install of FreeBSD into /dev/hda3 and added this to menu.lst:
title FreeBSD 5.1 root (hd0,2,a) kernel /boot/loader
But I get "filesystem type unknown, partition type 0xA5. Error 17: cannot mount selected partition". Do I need another "stage_1_5" loader for the FreeBSD filesystem?
I've the following entry for booting NetBSD on my box also running 9.0 with grub: title NetBSD root (hd0,5,a) chainloader +1 -- Mads Martin Joergensen, http://mmj.dk "Why make things difficult, when it is possible to make them cryptic and totally illogical, with just a little bit more effort?" -- A.
