Hello to all. In my computer I have 2 soundcards: one as /dev/dsp0 and another as /dev/dsp1, they work fine without problems. The /dev/dsp0 is working for multimedia, with speakers connected on, the /dev/dsp1 is working for hamradio purposes. But if I want to hear some music from CD's, with kscd, I only hear music from /dev/dsp1 instead of /dev/dsp1 (as desired). But if I want to hear mp3 music I hear from /dev/dsp0 (the correct soundcard). How can I change kscd (xmms as same behavior) to hear music from /dev/dsp0????
Any help will be welcome.
Thanks and best regards.

In XMMS Visualization Plugins, Input plugins, Disable CD Audio Player (libcdaudio) (checkbox) Enable AudioCD Reader (libcdread) This will read the cd digitally rather than just tell it to play the cd and send the data to the sound card. This uses a bit more CPU, but nothing too nasty. -- _____________________________________ John Andersen
