My SuSE 9.0 pro update came with just one of the two manuals. But both manuals are supposed to be installed in electronic form. Where are they?
I invoke susehelp from an xterm and see lots of KDE stuff, access to man and info pages, but not entries about the manuals. I couldn't find any rpm's on my dvd that had them either.
Thanks, Henry Harpending
Log into KDE or Gnome. Cllick on the main menu icon, then to the KDE Menu, and finally to Help (the icon looks like a little life preserver). Assuming you knew all that, then open Help. The very first entry in Contents is "User Guide". If you click on the "Administration" entry, the very first entry under that entry is "Administration Guide". At least that's the way it is on my SuSE 9.0 Pro system.
Nope, it ain't there. I found an RPM on the dvd called "books" but it doesn't contained the SuSE manuals. I have pinned and pinned and can't find what RPM they are in, which I must not have installed. Anyone know the rpm? Thanks, Henry Harpending
