VNC Connection not working

Hi All,

I have installed Suse 9.0 with the remote administration option at install
time, which enabled VNC. VNC was was working for the first couple of days,
then it stopped, with seemingly no change to any configuration. When
connecting from a remote computer to  vnc the X display appears (with the
black n white checks, and a mouse cursor), but xdm/kdm does not start as
it has done before. You can still login in though the pc, rather then
vnc. Being originally from a Windows background, I rebooted, but to no
avail. Then I uninstalled tightvnc package and reinstalled it, but to no
avail. All seems correct in xinetd.log. I tried to install tightvnc through
yast on another box, and VNC did not show KDM ever. Please help me with
debugging my VNC problem, as I am stuck!

Thanks in advance,

Olly
