ISDN modem on a serial port

I have a BT ISDN Modem, it is a rebadged AVM Modem. I stuck it in and tried to get SuSE to see it with no joy, I am wonering if I should have removed the modem from the config first For those who know, it it a Speedway Modem Sean -- GPG Key Id 120A02FB ICQ: 679813 Jabber: tcobone@jabber.org SuSE 9.0 for when you want to spend time doinmg and not rebooting
