I knew it. I entered one lousy command and screwed everything up. Now
my printer doesn't work and the nice little graphical logon screen is
gone. I entered:
rchotplug restart
That's it. (The restart failed by the way.) I didn't notice until a few
minutes later that I could no longer print. I decided to try the
Microsoft standard fix (I rebooted) and that's when I found out that the
logon screen was gone. What the heck happened? (I'm running Gnome 2.2.2
under SuSE 9.0. I'm using CUPS printing.) Any help would be appreciated
here.
