Hello SUSE folkz, I have IDE DVD-ROM and DVD+-RW drives which were emulated as SCSI devices /dev/sr0 and dev/sr1, when I recompiled 2.6.0-test9 kernel from its plain sources. Everything went honky dory. System works beatufully. I modified /etc/fstab file to reflect changes in new cdrom and dvdrw assignments: /dev/sr0 /media/dvd auto ro,noauto, user, exec 0 0 /dev/sr0 /media/dvdrw auto ro,noauto, user, exec 0 0 Now here is the problem: When I try to "Change Source of Installation" in YaST interface to /dev/sr0 or DVDROM to /media/dvd it reports the error that URL dvd:/// can't be created - unknoun filesustem. However, when I'm changing source of installation to directory /media/dvd it works, but every time I want to install something from the DVD I have to mount it manually. Prior to this YaST was mounting and reading DVD drive automatically. Could somebody help me please to clarify this issue. How to make YaST to accept this device /dev/sr0 or /media/dvd as a legiment sourse of installation? Many thanks in advance, Alex
