The default printing system in SUSE 9.0 would be CUPS (Common UNIX
Printing System) and you can find a list of printers that are supported
by CUPS at it's website.. http://cups.org/

I find that most Epson's are supported by CUPS because Epson made an
effort to give demo printers to companies like SUSE. At one point we had
13 printers in the SUSE (Oakland office). :)

I've got an Epson 880 and it works VERY well. It's an older model circa
2001 but I'm sure if you get an Epson that is listed on the CUPS site
that it will probably work quite well. But make sure you check the list
of printers first before purchase.

Isn't Tacoma close to the first ring of Hell..ie..Microsoft. *grin*
