Hey everyone,
I've been going back and forth with some of you about the wireless
problem where you would get an ip address but no dns servers in
/etc/resolv.conf. Well I finally came up with a relatively easy fix.
I uninstalled the dhcpcd package and replaced it with the dhcp-client
package. one reboot and everything started working smoothly. I'm not
sure what's changed. I tried removing dhcpcd and replacing it with the
one from Suse 8.2 and that had no effect the one time I did it. but
replacing it with a totally different package seemed to fix the problem
really nicely.
Hope this works for everyone.
Regards,
Aric Wilisch
