I am using SuSE 8.2 with synaptic version 0.43.1. For the past week or so I haven't had any updates coming through when I use synaptic.
Examples:
Epiphany- http://www.usr-local-bin.org/epiphany.php shows version 1.0.6. Synaptic is showing epiphany 1.0.4-SuSE.ulb.1 installed and no available upgrade.
Gaim- http://www.usr-local-bin.org/gaim.php shows version 0.72. Synaptic is showing gaim 0.71-SuSE.ulb.1 installed and no available upgrade
My /etc/apt/sources.list is as follows...
rpm ftp://ftp.gwdg.de/pub/linux/suse/apt/ SuSE/8.2-i386 base update kde xfree86 usr-local-bin funktronics packman packman-i686 kde3-stable security-prpm security
Am I missing something? Do I need to use another repository for usr-local-bin?
Newer packages are for 9.0. It is clearly written "These packages are built for SuSE 9.0, they are not intended to work with previous versions, but your mileage may vary." ain
