How to diagnose lockups?

Is there a FAQ anywhere that would help me to diagnose why I have a remote
SuSE 8.0 Pro box acting up and seizing every couple of days all of a sudden?
It's running Apache 2, PHP and MySQL. I almost don't know where to start cuz
when it gets recycled it comes back just fine.
ANY ideas would be appreciated!
