Hi, In Mandrake I usually download the whole update directory and write it to cd.
You must wait a few more weeks. SuSE (or SUSE, as you may prefer) *is* a commercial company, and as such needs to make some money in order to pay staff etc. It wont be a lot longer, about two more weeks,or so , and then you will be able to Download all that is in the boxes. You may also want to consider buying one of the boxes to help out w/ the support of the company. There are a lot oflevels and prices, including some copies that are called "upgrades", but which contain all the cds and dvds in the full versions. They don't however, contain the hand books, and text books. IIRC OTH, no prior SuSE installation is required for an install . Let your Linux experience be your guide.
