I've just upgraded my Mplayer from packman.links2linux.org and have a small problem. MPlayer now seems to want libsmbclient and won't start without it: mplayer: error while loading shared libraries: libsmbclient.so.0: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory However, I already have this installed according to YaST. Does anyone know how to persuade MPlayer to play nicely? Also, the reason I'm fiddling with mplayer ATM is that I've got an ogm file I'm trying to play and I gather that mplayer is supposed to support this format (it's a slightly dodgy bodge of the ogg format to store video). Is there any other way to play these? I have xine but it doesn't want to know.
