I agree, SuSE makes much more sense than SUSE. C'eST La viE.

Not to argue with you, but you are referring to that old company: `Software und System Entwicklung`, which meant "software and system development."
At least that's what I was told. But that company is long gone. It left even before the Novell news was announced. Look at your 9.0 Box, or go to the SUSE website, and you will see what I mean.
Soon only "old foggies" wwill remember what S.u.S.E. use to stand for... but hopefully SUSE will continue to stand for:
"a comunity where we all do what we can to improve things."
Oh, and don't forget, the correct pronunciation is "sue-zee" ;) In checking the 8.2 distro, SuSE is used on the 8.2 box and in the /etc/issue. Also, when checking messages from YOU: Thu Oct 2 13:41:40 EDT 2003 <snip> Have a lot of fun... Your SuSE Team
But, the 9.o box uses SUSE (and 9.o with the letter o).
And the web site uses SUSE except the logo which still uses SuSE.
What matters to me is that SuSE or SUSE stands for the best distribution
from the standpoint of engineering and ease of use at the desktop level.
I don't really care if the name changes of Novellix Linux.
