We have used SuSE with great plessure for many years now (I think we started with version 5.0), but I now see us in a situation where we have to look around for other alternatives, just so if the smaller SuSE solutions lose momentum we can jump ship. I'l hate to do it, but if Novell don't find a way to solve this problem with conflicting interests, we have to do it.
This is the reality, I'm afraid. I want to keep using SuSE, but I don't want to pay more than I do now (at least not much more) for that pleasure. I'm looking at my options, personally. I need stability and this isn't stability unless the CEO of Novell comes out tomorrow and guarantees that the $79 Pro distro isn't going away.
EXACTLY! As I said, I never did trust Novell to do anything intelligent, and I don't now. Fred -- "...Linux, MS-DOS, and Windows XP (also known as the Good, the Bad, and the Ugly)."
