Ok, I've done all that follows and it works great for KOrganizer and my to do list (although the to do list shows all my completed items even though I tell it not to). However, I still have one issue: the memos aren't syncing into KPilot. looking through the KPilot manual, which is for version 4.3.0, it states there's a menu item called View. This menu item doesn't appear on my version. I have configured KPilot to use the Knotes conduit, but the memos don't come up in the Knotes app. Further, there is a separate knotes app under KDE which looks like post-it notes. Did version 4.3.9 discontinue support for the memos? Is there another app which takes care of the memos in my Visor? Does Knotes require some kind of configuration which will use the memos from the visor? One more item. Is there a way to get the KDE addressbook to use sync instead of the KPilot addressbook? 1. Open Korganizer and save a new calendar file (my.ics) if you don't have one already. 2. Make this calendar file active. 3. Configure the todo and vcal conduits in KPilot, so that they point to this calendar file. 4. Sync your palm device and see the marvel. ;-)
The key point is that in KOrganizer you have to create a calendar file << File - Save - my.ics >>, and, while the calendar is still open, make it active with << File - Make Active >>.
Then in kpilot add the KOrganize Conduit (Settings - Configure Conduits) and point the conduit to your calendar file (e.g. /home/me/.kde/share/apps/ korganizer/my.ics).
This worked for me.

I've finally gotten my Handspring Prism to sync with my SUSE 8.2 Pro system.
I can sync with ColdSync, pilot-link, Jpilot completely.
Kpilot, which would be my preferred sync method, only partially syncs. It won't sync the datebook, the memos, or the todo list.
I;ve checked the settings, and all the desired conduits are selected for syncing up.
I know the datebook data is supposed to go into the KOrganizer, and the address info is also supposed to go into the KAddressbook app.
My version of all the Kpilot apps is 3.1.1 (KPilot itself is 4.3.9), with KDE 3.1.1.
I've seen versions 3.1.4 on the SUSE site (YOU sees only 3.1.1 RPM files). Will they solve this problem? Is there another solution I'm not seeing to get the proper sync with the KDE apps?
I can use Jpilot, but would prefer to use KPilot because of it's integration with KDE apps and KMail via the KAddressbook.
Also, is there a KDE/KPilot mail list where I can post this also?
Thanks,
