I mostly just lurk on this list (being newish) - it's good for me to read the mail and learn. It's a heck of a lot of mail though, you all know this. To help me manage I'm using the threading feature in kmail, which is useful.
OK my question is to do with the colours that kmail makes the messages. Obviously the red colour indicates a new mail. And blue means a message which is not new but which I still haven't read. Is it possible to further customise kmail regarding these colours? For instance, I would like to able to quickly and easily "flag" messages / threads that I'm interested in, and thus be able to easily identify them later by colour. Could I bind a key perhaps, to (for example) colour a message that I am interested in yellow? That way when I look at the list of messages I can identify the ones of particular interest without having to do any *hard* work. Also I could have a colour to indicate "too technical for me" and "this is a silly message"... etc. I know I can flag messages as "important" via Message / Mark_Message / Mark_Message_as_Important ... but I was hoping for something with more colour.
I'd like to add a brief thanks to all the tireless contributors who with patience and knowledge answer questions like this one each day. Respect. Jake
I do not remember well ( i am not in my computer now) But search in settings you will find what are you looking for you may change all that colors
