I did contact already the author. He did not have any idea if a driver already exists for this.
Siemens it is kind of listening to customers, I always received email back from them related with my problems.
It is good idea to email them.
Another point: if I would use just the serial cable. Should it work then ?

Still not tried with Linux. I'm waiting when my pusher'll give me the
new 9.0.
It won't be a bad idea if we both write to Siemens to motivate them to
support more Linux and suggest a partnership with SuSE...
Currently it is last of my thought... but if you're in a hurry I'll do
further search... (maybe contacting the author of the package etc...) so
we won't look as clueless lazy guys when we will write to Siemens ;)
A small drop in a fast moving river... but well HW vendors should be
reminded there is a growing market here that will apreciate their
support.
