Great, do you know if I can pull a Linux drive (boot drive) from another computer and install it as the secondary drive on my other computer and it work in that position?
You'll need to set the boot to point to the correct root partitions etc in the new machine. On the old machine, add a new boot config for the new machine [GRUB or LILO] same as present config but change /dev/sda1 to /dev/sdb1 etc. Leave the old config, in case you make a mistake. Plus point your Windows boot manager at you linux boot partition. Vince Littler
