Looking for Wap browser, I found Wapaka that works great on Windows (see image on link below). http://mywebpage.netscape.com/Adagilson/java4linux.jpg This is the command I use to open Wapaka on its folder: java -classpath Wapaka.jar;WPKScriptLibs.jar;WPKScript.jar;. Wapaka But this is not working on Linux. Also I tried what Vilmar suggested me: java -classpath Wapaka.jar:WPKScriptLibs.jar:WPKScript.jar:. Wapaka (directories and zip/jar files separated by ":" instead ";") Any more ideas? a.
Java is fantastic on Linux. You are simply having some kind of minor difficulty. Once you understand how Java works a little better, it won't seem so bad. Are WPKScript.jar, etc in your current directory? If not, be sure to give the full path to where they are. If locate is installed try `locate Wapaka.jar' to find where it is. I know nothing about your probram, but have you tried something like `java -jar YourJarFile.jar'? Sometimes the jar files are configured to execute a default program when called this way. Another option is to try jar -ft JarFile.jar which will show you a list of the classes in the jar file. Whatever you run with java will have to be the name of a class file without the .class extention. To see what methods are on each class, use `javap classname' which. If nothing else it should at least show you that your classpath is correct. You might want to try `export CLASSPATH=Wapaka.jar:WPKScriptLibs.jar:WPKScript.jar" STH
