using wget to connect to server and download file

Hi, I want to use wget to download the entire contents of one of our servers. Only problem is, I have disabled the anonymous function of ftp for security reasons and now don't know the correct syntax for ftping using wget which includes my username and password. Does anybody know how to insert my username and password into the wget command line to enable me to do this from crontab??? I can't find any information in the wget man file. Thanx Damian
