A few days ago I pre-ordered my copy of V9.0 Professional and in the
blurb accompanying the description of the package it states that a
"test version of the 2.6 kernel" "for the technically skilled persons"
is included.

Anyone know what "for the technically skilled persons" may mean with
respect to the 2.6 kernel? I mean, will it be just a case of "use at
your own risk" but it will still work OK, or will it require some
fiddling to get it working?

Cheers.

I would think it means "It will work - to the best of its ability". I.e., it should run without twiddling, but use at your own risk.

Ah, I prefer your interpretation of the wording to the the other 2 :-).
I hate fiddling :-).

Thanks to Dan and Mads who also responded.

Cheers.
