Hi, Firstly, sorry for another "Redhat" involving type question. This one is very different than any other however. Redhat have recently jumped on their "fedora" bandwagon. Good in principle but flawed in other ways. I won't go into depth but I don't think RH will be around much longer and more importantly neither will any support or patches. So I've got to jump ship for safety's sake. Currently the infrastructure I administer and develop for consist of 2 RH8 servers and a RH9 workstation. Not much but the servers are very very important and run the company's key software product. The only unanswered current long term issue on moving to SuSE is: End Of Line ... What are SuSE's policies on EOLing software? When will I have to upgrade SuSE 9 for example and how long will security patches be available after the next release appears? Can anyone answer this for certain at all? If thats a good 2 year cycle, then SuSE it is :-) Thanks all, Chris Smith
