That's one of the reasons I switched from Red Hat Linux to SuSE Linux: I
love KDE and Red Hat suffers some strange effects with KDE. For example,
I can see a noticeable lag when moving windows around in KDE, but that
doesn't happen with GNOME.
On SuSE Linux is the other way around: GNOME is much slower, but KDE
feels very snappy :-)
