If you are running your laptop continuously you might want to get one of those
laptop coolers. Generally they are a thin piece of aluminum with two fans.
It lifts the laptop up and blows air under it.

My Compaq now recharges the battery 100% and maintains it! Before the cooler
was installed, the only way I could get the battery to charge was to turn off
the machine for a while and let it cool down. My brother;s Dell runs so cool
the fans no longer come on where they were running all the time.

I picked up a couple of the things at a computer show in LA for about 20
bucks. You may be able to find some on the net for around that price.
Richard
