Hey SuSE; There needs to be a program in Yast or as a script that will track down a local systems */lib/file.so and then write it to /etc/ld.so.conf. Then run "ldconfig" The reason I suggest this is because of a recent email dealing with mplayer. [INFO: I do not run KDE way to slow -> fvwm]. I from a xterm and console tried "mplayer" and got the error libartsc.so.0: cannot open shared. Simple fix was to add that directory to /etc/ld.so.conf -> /opt/kde3/lib -- 73 de Donn Washburn __ " http://www.hal-pc.org/~n5xwb " Ham Callsign N5XWB / / __ __ __ __ __ __ __ 307 Savoy St. / /__ / / / \/ / / /_/ / \ \/ / Sugar Land, TX 77478 /_____/ /_/ /_/\__/ /_____/ /_/\_\ LL# 1.281.242.3256 a MSDOS Virus "Free Zone" OS Email: n5xwb@hal-pc.org Info: http://www.knoppix.net
