Is there anything else I can use?

Open a console window and write:

import <filename.png>. Then move your mouse over the
window you like to save, and
click the left mouse. 2 bips indicates it has been
succeeded.

If its a total screenshot:

import -window root <picture.png> and enter. Then 2
bips sounds, and the screenshot has been saved.

Typing "import" in a console shell results in a "command not found error". What packages have to be installed to use this useful command?

TIA.
