I installed Xchat, but from term and the menu list it won't execute. I have to enter in the FullPath name for it to run.
I'm running as non-root user. I am also using WindowMaker (but that should affect the xterm results). My File Sharing is set to Secure.
hm, what's "my file sharing"?
Sounds like a bug?
No, it just sounds like you don't have the directory where the xchat binary is installed in your $PATH. Did you install this manually, or is it the SuSE rpm? If it's the SuSE rpm, it should be in /opt/gnome2/bin which should be in your path, if it isn't that might be a bug of sorts. If you installed it somewhere else manually, put something like export PATH=$PATH:/directory/where/xchat/is in your .bashrc
